Attribution

geolith answers from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps. Wherever you display geolith results or map tiles, show this line: "© OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), Overture Maps Foundation". It is required on every plan, including Free, and it is the only condition on storing results permanently.

The text

© OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), Overture Maps Foundation

Link "OpenStreetMap contributors" to openstreetmap.org/copyright when your medium supports links.

Where to put it

On a map: in the map’s attribution control. MapLibre GL JS shows it when you set attribution on the source.

In a search box or address form: a small line under the suggestions list.

In an app with no map: on an about or credits screen that users can reach.

OpenStreetMap

OpenStreetMap data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Under the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s geocoding guideline, individual geocoding results are insubstantial extracts, which is why you may store them.

Overture Maps

Overture Maps Foundation data is published under open licences (CDLA Permissive 2.0 and ODbL, depending on the theme). Credit "Overture Maps Foundation".
